This app uses an AI-powered image recognition system (Google Gemini) to identify minerals and artworks. In accordance with Art. 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), you are informed that you are interacting with an AI system.

Confidence and reliability

Every identification displays a confidence score in percent and a band (High / Medium / Low). These values indicate how certain the AI model is about a given result; they are not proof of mineralogical or art-historical accuracy. Results are estimates from a statistical model, not certified appraisals. The value is the model's own estimate, not a measured accuracy.

No result is shown as verified or certified. Identification results do not replace expert assessment by mineralogists, geologists, or art specialists.

Descriptions of effects, healing stones, or cultural meanings are folklore and not medical or scientific statements.

When capturing and identifying a mineral or artwork, your photo is transmitted to the AI service Google Gemini (Google LLC, USA). Details are set out in the privacy policy.

Photos you save are also checked automatically by an AI image model for nudity and sexual content before they are saved. No person sees your photo in this check. Details on the check and your rights are in the privacy policy (section 4.8).
