Right of withdrawal
As of 15 October 2026
Overview
If you enter into a paid contract with us (a subscription), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal as a consumer. If you withdraw within that period, we refund your payment in full. This page contains the withdrawal instructions and the model withdrawal form provided for by law, and explains the withdrawal function.
Legal basis (§ 355, § 356 BGB)
Under § 355 BGB, you can withdraw from a consumer contract within 14 days without giving any reason; the period begins when the contract is concluded (§ 355 Abs. 2 BGB). § 356 BGB governs how you exercise this right and the cases in which it is regulated differently or excluded. We do not rely on those exceptions (see the next section).
Refund on withdrawal
If you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund all payments for the contract in full, using the same payment method you paid with. We do not charge any compensation for the time until you withdraw. Your access to the Plus features ends with the withdrawal; for Glenby+ Duo, the invited person's seat ends with it. We do not rely on early expiry of the right of withdrawal under § 356 Abs. 5 BGB: we do not collect a consent for it.
Pre-contractual duties (§ 312j BGB)
For a paid contract concluded via a button to be validly formed, the button must be clearly labelled with the words "zahlungspflichtig bestellen" (German for "order with obligation to pay") or an equally unambiguous wording (§ 312j Abs. 3 BGB). If such unambiguous labelling is missing, no contract comes into existence at all under § 312j Abs. 4 BGB - the Federal Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof) confirmed this in its judgment of 9 October 2025 (case I ZR 159/24): a button that is not properly labelled cannot be cured retroactively.
The withdrawal function (§ 356a BGB)
Since 19 June 2026, § 356a BGB has additionally required a permanently available withdrawal function for contracts concluded via an online user interface - expressly including an app:
- We provide it as a dedicated withdrawal function: in the app under "Vertrag & Abo" (contract and plan) and online at glenby.de/vertrag-widerrufen. It is permanently available throughout the entire withdrawal period and without a detour through a support request.
- No reason is required: fill in the model withdrawal form further below and send it by email, or state your withdrawal informally in your own words to legal@glenby.de.
- Immediately after we receive your statement, you get a confirmation on a durable medium (by email) stating the content, date, and time of your withdrawal declaration.
If the withdrawal function is not properly provided, the withdrawal period is automatically extended by law to 12 months and 14 days.

Withdrawal instructions
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Ebrahim Seyfi, trading as “Senorit”, Seeschwalbentwiete 23, 22119 Hamburg, Germany, telephone: +49 155 609 88996, email: legal@glenby.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online in the Glenby app under “Vertrag & Abo” (contract and plan) or at glenby.de/vertrag-widerrufen. If you use this online function, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (for example by email), with information on the content of the withdrawal statement and the date and time it was received.
You can also fill in and submit the model withdrawal form or another unequivocal statement electronically on our website glenby.de/vertrag-widerrufen. If you use this option, we will immediately (for example by email) send you a confirmation that your withdrawal has been received.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

– I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service (*)
– Ordered on (*)
– Name of consumer(s)
– Address of consumer(s)
– Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper)
– Date
(*) Delete as appropriate.
You do not have to use the form. An unequivocal statement in any other form is equally sufficient.
Buying in the Android app
If you buy in the Android app, Google Play first shows a notice that it is sending you to an external payment page run by Glenby. Google Play does not process the payment.
Withdrawal vs. cancellation
Withdrawal must be distinguished from cancelling an ongoing subscription: withdrawal retroactively undoes the original conclusion of the contract and is available to you for 14 days from the conclusion of the contract; cancellation ends an existing subscription for the future, at the end of the current billing period. You can find the cancellation function (§ 312k BGB) in our Terms of Use.
